Bhrigu represents the height of Vedic wisdom and the power of penance. The syllable 'Om' (Pranava) is the primordial vibration from which all speech originates. Japa-Yajna is hailed as the highest sacrifice because it is non-violent (ahimsa), requires no external materials, and can be performed internally at any time, leading to direct mental purification.
