Chapter 10, Verse 32

सर्गाणामादिरन्तश्च मध्यं चैवाहमर्जुन | अध्यात्मविद्या विद्यानां वाद: प्रवदतामहम् ॥32॥
sargāṇām ādir antaś ca madhyaṃ caivāham arjuna | adhyātma-vidyā vidyānāṃ vādaḥ pravadatām aham ||
"O Arjuna, of all creations I am the beginning, the end, and also the middle. Among all sciences, I am the science of the Self; and among those who debate, I am the logical conclusion aimed at truth."
Key Insight:
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us through 10.32 that true peace is found when we align our actions with Dharma.

Detailed Meaning

Lord Krishna declares His omnipresence in time and knowledge. He is the entire lifespan of creation (origin, sustenance, and dissolution). He identifies as 'Adhyatma-vidya' because while other sciences (Vidyas) deal with the external world, spiritual knowledge deals with the eternal subject—the Self. In the realm of logic, He distinguishes 'Vada' (truth-seeking discussion) from 'Jalpa' (polemics) and 'Vitanda' (caviling). Vada is the divine manifestation of speech because its sole purpose is the establishment of Truth through reason.
