"I am the origin of all; everything moves on owing to Me. Realizing thus, the wise ones, filled with fervour, adore Me."
Key Insight:
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us through 10.8 that true peace is found when we align our actions with Dharma.

Detailed Meaning

In this pivotal verse, known as one of the 'Chatur-shloki' (four core verses) of the Gita, Krishna declares Himself as the 'Svayam Bhagavan'—the fountainhead of all material and spiritual realities. He is the 'Primal Cause' (Sarva-karana-karanam). The 'Budhah' or truly enlightened souls are not those with mere intellectual data, but those who have the realized knowledge (Vijnana) that everything emanates from the Divine. This realization naturally leads to 'Bhava'—a state of ecstatic emotional connection and devoted worship. The verse clarifies that while secondary creators like Brahma exist, the ultimate energy and impetus come solely from Krishna.
