Detailed Meaning
In this verse, Arjuna is described in a state of profound awe and trepidation after witnessing the Universal Form (Vishwarupa). Sanjaya refers to Arjuna as 'Kiriti' (the crowned one), a title given by Indra, subtly signaling to King Dhritarashtra that Arjuna's divine grace and eventual victory are certain. The physical symptoms—trembling (vepamānaḥ), joined palms (kṛtāñjaliḥ), and a faltering voice (sagadgadaṃ)—illustrate the transition from seeing Krishna as a friend to recognizing Him as the Supreme Almighty.
