Chapter 11, Verse 4

मन्यसे यदि तच्छक्यं मया द्रष्टुमिति प्रभो | योगेश्वर ततो मे त्वं दर्शयात्मानमव्ययम् ॥4॥
manyase yadi tach-chakyaṁ mayā draṣhṭum iti prabho | yogeśhvara tato me tvaṁ darśhayātmānam avyayam
"O Lord, if You think that it is possible to be seen by me, then, O Lord of Yoga, You show me Your eternal Self."
Key Insight:
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us through 11.4 that true peace is found when we align our actions with Dharma.

Detailed Meaning

Arjuna exhibits profound humility and surrender. Instead of demanding a vision of the Divine Cosmic Form, he qualifies his request with 'if You think it is possible.' He addresses Krishna as 'Yogeshwara'—the Master of all mystic powers—acknowledging that such a vision is a gift of Grace, not a right of the seeker. The word 'Avyayam' highlights that the form he seeks to see is the imperishable, eternal aspect of the Divine, beyond the decay of the material world.
