किरीटिनं गदिनं चक्रहस्त- मिच्छामि त्वां द्रष्टुमहं तथैव | तेनैव रूपेण चतुर्भुजेन सहस्रबाहो भव विश्वमूर्ते ॥46॥
kirīṭinaṁ gadinaṁ chakra-hastam icchāmi tvāṁ draṣhṭum ahaṁ tathaiva | tenaiva rūpeṇa chatur-bhujena sahasra-bāho bhava viśhwa-mūrte
"I want to see You just as before, wearing a crown, wielding a mace, and holding a disc in hand. O You with thousand arms, O You of Cosmic form, appear with that very form with four hands."
Key Insight:
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us through 11.46 that true peace is found when we align our actions with Dharma.

Detailed Meaning

Having witnessed the overwhelming majesty of the Vishwarupa (Universal Form), Arjuna experiences a shift from awe to a desire for intimacy. He specifically requests the Lord to return to His four-armed (Chatur-bhuja) form, which represents a bridge between the infinite cosmic divinity and the relatable human-like form. By addressing Krishna as 'Sahasra-baho' (thousand-armed) while asking for the 'Chatur-bhujena' (four-armed) form, Arjuna acknowledges that the infinite and the personal are one and the same essence.
