ब्रह्मणो हि प्रतिष्ठाहममृतस्याव्ययस्य च | शाश्वतस्य च धर्मस्य सुखस्यैकान्तिकस्य च ॥27॥

"For I am the Abode of Brahman—the indestructible and immutable, the eternal, the Dharma and absolute Bliss."
Key Insight:
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us through 14.27 that true peace is found when we align our actions with Dharma.

Detailed Meaning

In this pivotal verse, Shree Krishna clarifies the relationship between the Personal Godhead and the Impersonal Brahman. He declares Himself to be the 'Pratistha' (foundation/abode) of Brahman. This implies that the formless, all-pervading light (Brahman) worshipped by jnanis is actually the effulgence emanating from the divine form of the Supreme Lord. He is the source of immortality (amritam), the imperishable (avyaya), the eternal law (shashvata dharma), and the ultimate, unadulterated bliss (aikantika sukha). This verse encourages the seeker to move beyond abstract realization into a loving, unwavering devotion to the Divine Person, who is the source of all spiritual states.
