Key Insight:

Detailed Meaning

In this verse, Lord Krishna explains the divine law of karmic consequence for those who persist in a demoniac nature. The term 'narādhamān' (the lowest of mankind) refers to those who have completely abandoned their humanity for cruelty and hatred. Krishna clarifies that such souls are not 'punished' by a vengeful God, but rather placed into environments (āsurīṣu yoniṣu) that perfectly mirror their own internal state. This ensures they inhabit a 'womb' or species where their chosen nature can be lived out, which also serves as a pedagogical containment for the cosmos. The word 'ajasram' signifies the repetitive cycle they enter until a profound shift in consciousness occurs.
