"Therefore, remaining unattached, always perform the obligatory duty, for, by performing one's duty without attachment, a person attains the Supreme."
Key Insight:
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us through 3.19 that true peace is found when we align our actions with Dharma.

Detailed Meaning

Lord Krishna provides the ultimate synthesis of action and liberation (Karma Yoga). He advises Arjuna that since action is inevitable and superior to inaction for most, the secret lies in 'Asakti' (detachment). By performing 'Karyam Karma' (duty for duty's sake) without craving for results, one purifies the mind. This purity eventually leads to 'Param' (the Supreme state), proving that worldly duties are not obstacles but vehicles for spiritual enlightenment.
