Detailed Meaning
In this verse, Shree Krishna explains His relationship with the three gunas (modes of nature): Sattva (purity), Rajas (passion), and Tamas (ignorance). He clarifies that while all these states of existence originate from His energy, He is independent of them. Like a king who makes laws but is not bound by them himself, or a dreamer who is the source of the dream world but remains distinct from it, the Divine is the substratum of all existence without being limited or tainted by the material qualities of that existence.
