ज्ञानं तेऽहं सविज्ञानमिदं वक्ष्याम्यशेषत: | यज्ज्ञात्वा नेह भूयोऽन्यज्ज्ञातव्यमवशिष्यते ॥2॥
jñānaṁ te ’haṁ savijñānam idaṁ vakṣyāmyaśeṣataḥ | yaj jñātvā neha bhūyo ’nyaj jñātavyam avaśiṣyate ||
"I shall tell you in detail of this Knowledge which is combined with realization, after experiencing which there remains nothing else here to be known again."
Key Insight:
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us through 7.2 that true peace is found when we align our actions with Dharma.

Detailed Meaning

In this verse, Lord Krishna distinguishes between Jñāna (theoretical or intellectual knowledge of the Divine) and Vijñāna (experiential wisdom or personal realization). Jñāna is the 'what' and 'why' found in scriptures, while Vijñāna is the 'how'—the actual taste of the truth. Krishna promises to impart this knowledge 'aśeṣataḥ' (completely), implying that once the ultimate truth of the Supreme is realized both intellectually and experientially, the seeker attains a state of cognitive and spiritual completion where no further curiosity or ignorance remains regarding the nature of reality.
