JIVA VIDYA: TERMS OF SERVICE & PRIVACY GOVERNANCE

PART A: TERMS OF SERVICE

1. BINDING AGREEMENT

By accessing, downloading, or using Jiva Vidya (the "App"), you, the user ("You"), enter into a legally binding contract with Little Callet ("Company," "We," "Us"). If you do not agree to every clause herein, you are strictly prohibited from using the App and must delete it immediately.

2. SCOPE OF "ASK KRISHNA" (AI DISCLAIMER)

The App features an interactive AI interface titled "Ask Krishna."

Nature of Service: "Ask Krishna" utilizes Generative Artificial Intelligence and Large Knowledge Models (LLMs). Responses are algorithmically generated based on philosophical texts and are not the statements of Little Callet.
No Professional Advice: Responses do not constitute legal, medical, financial, psychological, or life-critical advice.
User Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that AI can produce inaccurate, biased, or offensive content ("Hallucinations"). Little Callet expressly disclaims all liability for any harm, psychological distress, or decisions made based on "Ask Krishna" outputs.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The App, including but not limited to the "Hinglish Pills," curated verse translations, gamification logic, the "Sattva Meter" algorithm, and the "Old Book" visual aesthetic, is the sole intellectual property of Little Callet.

Prohibited Acts: Reverse engineering, data scraping, or using our content to train competing AI models is a breach of this contract and will be prosecuted to the maximum extent of the law.

4. TERMINATION & ABSOLUTE DISCRETION

Little Callet reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to terminate your access to the App, delete your data, or modify any feature (including your earned XP/Awards) at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice or liability.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & INDEMNITY

Total Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Little Callet's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the last 1 week.

Indemnity: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Little Callet and its officers from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from your use of the App or your violation of these terms.

PART B: PRIVACY POLICY & DATA GOVERNANCE

1. DATA COLLECTION & "PERPETUAL PERSISTENCE"

Unlike standard apps, Jiva Vidya is designed to be a lifetime spiritual companion. Consequently, we employ a Perpetual Data Persistence model.

What We Store: We store everything. This includes, but is not limited to: identity data (name, email), precise coursework progress, every single quiz attempt, timestamps of every login, and the full transcript of every interaction with "Ask Krishna."

Indefinite Storage: By using the App, you grant Little Callet an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and process this data indefinitely. This is required to maintain the continuity of your spiritual "Sadhana" and to improve the "Ask Krishna" model.

2. COMPLIANCE WITH THE INDIAN DPDP ACT (2023)

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act of India:

Notice: This document serves as notice of the data we collect and the purposes (service personalization and AI optimization) for which it is used.
Consent: By ticking "I Agree" or by continuing to use the App, you provide unambiguous, affirmative consent for the processing of your personal data.
Right to Erasure: You may request the deletion of your data via the in-app "Delete Account" feature. Note that backups and anonymized logs may persist for a period as required by law or for system security.

3. DATA SAFETY & CLOUD TRANSFERS

Your data is stored using Firebase (Google Cloud) servers. You acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than India, where data protection laws may differ.

PART C: STATUTORY DISCLOSURES & CONTACTS

1. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM

In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the DPDP Act, the details of the Grievance Officer are as follows:

2. MANDATORY AI REPORTING

If you encounter an "Ask Krishna" response that is illegal, harmful, or violates Indian community standards, you are obligated to report it immediately to support@littlecallet.com.

PART D: MISCELLANEOUS

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Jurisdiction: Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.

Severability: If any part of this document is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in full force.
