Key Insight:
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us through 11.51 that true peace is found when we align our actions with Dharma.

Detailed Meaning

After the overwhelming and terrifying experience of the Vishwarupa (Universal Form), Arjuna experiences profound relief upon seeing Krishna's gentle, human-like form. The term 'saumyam' implies gentleness and beauty, which restores Arjuna's 'sakhya bhava' (friendship). His restoration to 'prakṛtiṁ' (original nature) and 'sacetāḥ' (composed mind) signifies the importance of the personal relationship with the Divine in the path of Bhakti.
