Chapter 15, Verse 6

न तद्भासयते सूर्यो न शशाङ्को न पावक: | यद्गत्वा न निवर्तन्ते तद्धाम परमं मम ॥6॥
na tad bhāsayate sūryo na śhaśhāṅko na pāvakaḥ | yad gatvā na nivartante tad dhāma paramaṁ mama
"Neither the sun nor the moon nor fire illumines That. That is My Supreme Abode, reaching which they do not return."
Key Insight:
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us through 15.6 that true peace is found when we align our actions with Dharma.

Detailed Meaning

Lord Krishna describes His Supreme Abode (Param Dhāma) as self-luminous, requiring no external light sources like the sun, moon, or fire. This realm is transcendental, governed by Yogmaya (spiritual energy), and is characterized by Sat-Chit-Ananda (eternality, knowledge, and bliss). Once a soul reaches this divine state, it transcends the cycle of birth and death (Samsara) and does not return to the material world, instead participating in eternal divine pastimes (Leelas).
