Chapter 9, Verse 11

अवजानन्ति मां मूढा मानुषीं तनुमाश्रितम् | परं भावमजानन्तो मम भूतमहेश्वरम् ॥11॥
avajānanti māṁ mūḍhā mānuṣīṁ tanumāśritam | paraṁ bhāvamajānanto mama bhūtamaheśvaram
"Not knowing My supreme nature as the Lord of all beings, foolish people disregard Me when I descend in a human-like form."
Key Insight:
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us through 9.11 that true peace is found when we align our actions with Dharma.

Detailed Meaning

Shree Krishna explains that those lacking spiritual depth (mūḍhā) mistake His personal, human-like appearance for a mere material body. They fail to recognize His 'Param Bhāvam'—His transcendental nature as the Supreme Lord of all existence. God's form is not composed of material elements (Pañch Mahābhūta) but is Sat-Chit-Ananda (Eternal, Full of Knowledge, and Blissful). To deny God the ability to manifest in a form is to label Him as incomplete; He is simultaneously formless and personal.
