सर्वयोनिषु कौन्तेय मूर्तय: सम्भवन्ति या: | तासां ब्रह्म महद्योनिरहं बीजप्रद: पिता ॥4॥
sarva-yoniṣu kaunteya mūrtayaḥ sambhavanti yāḥ | tāsāṁ brahma mahad yonir ahaṁ bīja-pradaḥ pitā
"O son of Kunti, whatever forms are born from all the wombs, of them the great-sustainer is the womb; I am the father who deposits the seed."
Key Insight:
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us through 14.4 that true peace is found when we align our actions with Dharma.

Detailed Meaning

Lord Krishna explains the origin of all living beings as a union between material nature (Prakriti/Mahad-Brahma) and the Supreme Consciousness (Purusha). Prakriti acts as the mother or the 'womb' providing the physical elements, while God is the 'seed-giving father' who provides the individual souls (Jivas) based on their past karmas. This relationship establishes the divinity within all species of life, not just humans.
